Biography
Janusz Siadlak -a founder as well as from the very beginning a conductor of Collegium Cantorum. Apart from this he is a person in charge of the Choir of Dance and Song Group “Silesia”. He has graduated Pedagogical High School, in the fields of Music, in Częstochowa, and accomplished with honours Postgraduate College of Choirmastery in Music Academy in Bydgoszcz. He has participated in courses, seminars, symposiums, which conducted outstanding choral conductors and representatives of the World, among others prof. Heinrich Poos from Frankfurt , dr Hans Jaskulsky from Bochum Conservatory, dr Hayashi Hikaru from Tokyo University,Uwe Gronostay from Berli Philharmony, prof. Tatsuya Muratani from Tokyo and Director of Polish Chamber Choir , Jan Łukaszewski. Distingiushed award for Best Conductor at choral competitions. In 1998 he was awarded by the Governor for his entire artistic work, in August 2000 awarded by Mayor of Czestochowa for outstanding achievements in the field of music. Janusz Siadlak was elected in the poll by Gazeta Wyborcza in Czestochowa, A Creator of the Year 2000 and the chapter of the” Life of Czestochowa” elected him Man of the Year 2000. Interests of Janusz Siadlak measure in direction of deepening sensitivity on quality and expression of sound, obtainment of variety of tone colours, and to obtain the biggest possible homogeneity of chorus tone yet through deepening of vocal workshop of the singers.
